Despite the wettest December yet recorded in the UK, when the weather precludes boat renovations, we have been busy seeking funds. We start 2016 with the excellent news that our Cornwall Councillor Tony Martin (below) has supported the work on Jackaroo with £600 through his Council Community Chest fund. The scheme assists projects run by not-for-profit groups in the councillor's local area and this enables us to start sourcing materials and fittings from local suppliers.
